Abstract

A novel approach was used in this paper to achieving high resolution of organic light emitting diode (OLED) display by ink‐jet printing (IJP) method. In our work, a structure of line bank with two layers was utilized, in which the bottom and top layers were designed for pixel definition and ink restriction, respectively. As a result, the resolution of our OLED display reached 537 pixels per inch (PPI). Besides the structure, the interface factors of bank materials choice which affect the improvement of resolution was discussed.
