Abstract
The cathodoluminescent (CL) properties of the 12CaO⋅7Al2O3-based phosphors with subnano atomic cages were investigated with a low electron accelerating voltage. We prepared Tm, Bi and Eu as activator ions and synthesized the phosphors by solid-state reaction. In the low voltage CL properties of 12CaO⋅7Al2O3: Tm, Eu phosphors, luminescence was improved over that of 12CaO⋅7Al2O3: Eu and blue chromaticity was very excellent.
