Abstract
We propose a switchable LCD panel with “sandwich” mode, which can realize the view partition control.LCD including normal FFS mode and dimmers CP‐1 and CP‐2 for light reception. The dimmer is provided with a positive liquid crystal layer, a planar viewing angle control electrode and a comb pixel electrode. The dimmer is used to narrow the outgoing light from the required area of the backlight module. This architecture can realize the wide and narrow viewing angle switching of 45 ° anti peeping effect and regional anti peeping display. Therefore, switching the information disclosure and regional information privacy mode will become a new partition free switching anti peeping technology.
