Abstract
We present a method for assembling fundamental blocks that are reconfigurable based on soft modular blocks and stretchable interconnects. The soft modular blocks are electrically connected via a stretchable interconnect and the electrical properties of the resulting blocks are stable even under the external strain. We demonstrated various configurations of modular LED blocks including 4 by 4 LEDs and wearable LED displays onto the human skin.
