Abstract
AbstractWe have investigated the polymer effect on the thermal stability and electro‐optical properties of polymer‐stabilized blue phase (PSBP) liquid crystal. The temperature range of polymer stabilized blue phase liquid crystal samples expanded over 54°C including room temperature. The experimental results showed that polymer plays an important role in the thermodynamic stability of blue phase liquid crystals and reducing switching voltage.
