Abstract

AbstractLiquid splitting has been observed in electrofluidic displays when colored pigment dispersion recoils back into reservoir. Application of Laplace pressure to liquid film causes the liquid splitting problem. As demonstrated herein, the liquid splitting problem can be effectively solved by increasing interfacial surface tension or decreasing pixel size.
