Abstract

A 61 years old man admitted to our clinic with an erectile dysfunction ongoing for about 4-5 years. He has no previous surgery but a history of hypertension. He had used PDE 5 inhibitors and cavernousal injections before but all have been ineffective for the last 1 year. Penile doppler ultrasound revealed an arterial and venous insufficiency, right dorsolateral 5x2 cm plaque. He had a curvature of about 70 degrees and had no treatment for it before. We implanted the patient multi-piece (3 pieces) penile prosthesis, Peyronie's palque was excised and a rectus fascial greft was placed. He was discharged at postoperative day 2 and given permission for sexual intercourse after 2 months. Now he has a very satisfactory sexual intercourse and a slice but insignificant curvature about 5 degrees. Erectile dysfunction and penile curvature are bothersome problems for men and can be seen together. Surgical treatment with penile prosthesis has high degrees of satisfaction rates and these 2 operations can be performed together with low complication rates.
