Abstract

Introduction: Rectal cancer is a major health problem worldwide. Sex differences in incidence and mortality rates have been reported and attributed to biological and environmental factors, including diet and hormones. The aim of our study was to assess differences in clinicopathological parameters and therapeutic outcomes of rectal cancer (RC) between men and women.
