Abstract

Ozone Disinfection of Secondary EffluentMelbourne Water's Eastern Treatment Plant (ETP) is to be upgraded by the end of 2012 through the implementation of advanced tertiary treatment. The current secondary treated effluent at the site will be further treated by a process train comprising pre-ozone, biological media filtration, post-ozone, UV and chlorine.
