Abstract

A hybrid with cobalt monoxide nanocrystals spatially confined in holey N-doped carbon nanowires (CoO/NCWs) demonstrated a remarkably improved ORR electrocatalytic activity and stability, benefitting from the enlarged interfacial area by spatially confined hybridization.
