Abstract

The oxygen nonstoichiometry (δ) of the La 2− x Si x CuO 4−δ (0.2 ⩽ x⩽ 0.6) was studied as a function of temperature (900–1300 K) and oxygen partial pressure (3.6 × 10 −4−1 atm.) using the thermogravimetric technique. The absolute value of oxygen nonstoichiometry were determined by the direct reduction in a flux of hydrogen. Experimental results are fitted by linear and parabolic equations. Probable disordering processes are discussed. Based on the experimental data thermodynamic parameters of disordering processes (Δ H ° 0,Δ S ° 0, Δ H ° v, Δ S ° v) have been calculated.
