Abstract

By ESR technique the formation of adsorbed O 2 − and O − on Ti SiO 2 , V SiO 2 , Mo SiO 2 , V γ-Al 2O 3 , V-K SiO 2 , V ZrO 2 , V MgO has been studied. The properties of adsorbed radicals are determined by valence state and coordination of surface transition metal ions. The very high reactivity of adsorbed O− is discovered.
