Abstract

Numerous prospective epidemiological studies have investigated the effects of exercise or estimates of physical activity can increase oxidative stress. This research aims to provide an overview of the difference of oxidative stress after having sub-maximal physical activity in the morning-afternoon and as a self-reminder for human health system. This is an experimental laboratories research with pre-post-test design. The sub-maximal physical activities in this research is riding ergo-cycle with 80% HRmax for 6 minutes. The study revealed there is a significant improvement of MDA plasma degree and decreased activity of enzyme SOD before and after having sub-maximal physical activities in the morning and afternoon. Oxidative stress and the subsequent oxidation of LDL are considered a major contributor to the lifestyle-related diseases, impairment of endothelial function and the development of atherosclerotic lesions. For this reason, it is essential to make body as a self- reminder for human health system by considering the time and the intensity for having physical activities.
