Abstract

The CC-SS protocol has been shown to decrease time to ovulation by increasing the CC dose in an incremental fashion when ovulation does not occur rather than inducing a progesterone withdrawal bleed. It has been suggested that the mechanism of action of the SS protocol is via a cumulative effect of the incremental CC dose. The aim of this study was to determine the ovulatory rate in women undergoing ovulation induction (OI) using the previous effective dose from the CC-SS cycle.
