Abstract
An annual SIJ seminar for physicians to learn about SIJ disorder has already been held more than 15 times since 2002. The Low Back Pain/Sacroiliac Joint Center was opened in the JCHO Sendai Hospital in April 2010. The Japanese Sacroiliac Joint Research Society was founded in 2009 with the aim of disseminating the diagnosis and treatment of SIJ disorder. The 8th annual meeting was held in 2017.
