Abstract

This research is a part of validating and evaluating capacity bounds of multi antenna Massive-MIMO system used in cellular networks. The applications of the Massive MIMO system for the 5G cellular network are the prime concern of the paper. With the technological enrichment recently data usage of IOT and GSM devices has drastically increased. Therefore, the data transfer rates with 5G cellular networks have to be increased and necessary to connect with around more than 1000 times superior performance then existing 4G cellular networks. The prime concern of the paper is to provide overview of the Massive MIMO technology the future of 5G. The MIMO systems are implemented for increasing spectral and energy efficiency by installing multiple antennas in the space domain. With the increasing data demand massive MIMO is introduced to support huge amount of payload traffic with large numbers of antennas installed on. Paper contributes in two ways, initially it presents the basic concept and study of the MIMO systems and then the case study of the channel capacity performance in MIMO system streams is also presents. Overall paper significantly contribute to Validation of the channel capacity is presented for SISO and MIMO systems.
