Abstract

The clinical utility of digital intravenous angiography (DIVA) in arteriosclerotic disease of the carotid arteries was reviewed in 86 patients. DIVA provides sufficient information for the evaluation of intracranial disorders in many individuals, particularly those with venous abnormalities. Arterial studies are still required when in-depth information is necessary with regard to abnormalities of the arterial system.
