Abstract

The article is devoted to a brief overview of the tools for e-learning, from educational content management systems to personal learning environments. A comparative review of domestic and foreign LMS is given. There have been described the basic characteristics and differences of learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS). It is shown that the introduction of e-learning is not only innovative educational technologies, but also conditions for the socialization of different categories of students, regardless of their location, state of health, mobility.
