Abstract

In this study it was aimed to evaluate the viewpoints of the assistant doctors working in Ege University Medicine Faculty, evaluate how the e-prescriptions facilitate work, save time, prevent the extravagance of using drugs, and evaluate the awareness of the doctors about the concomitant responsibilities and the reliability of e-prescriptions. 51% of the volunteers stated that they had had an education about the e-prescription. %86 of the volunteers stated that they didn`t know the concomitant responsibilities of the e-prescription. 73 volunteers stated that the e-prescription isn`t reliable, 85 volunteers (85%) stated that the e-prescription didn`t save any time, 72 volunteers stated that the e-prescriptions didn`t prevent the extravagance of using drugs and again 72 volunteers stated that they thought no positive results would be obtained by using the e-prescription. The implementation of the e-prescription is hoped both to be understood whether it will be successful or not and to overcome the existing deficiencies.
