Abstract
A case of loose vegetable foreign body of trachea overlooked for 8 days and later getting impacted in subglottic space is presented. Unwariness of general medical practitioner to attach significance to the history and his ignorance about the symptomless interval is stressed. Difficulties encountered in the removal of such a foreign body through glottis are discussed.
