Abstract
In a hyperbolic unitary group over a field, the lattice of subgroups that contain all diagonal unitary matrices allows for the standard description. The corresponding form ring must satisfy certain conditions; for this reason, for fields of characteristic 2 we do not consider the symplectic group and the defective orthogonal groups.
