Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 03/28/20 The Americans with Disabilities Act allowed for an increased number of individuals with disabilities seeking higher education in healthcare professions. Students may require accommodations to succeed. This research explores barriers fieldwork sites identified to working with students with disabilities. This research drives a conversation about inclusivity and reasonable accommodations on fieldwork, which aligns with the pillar of AOTA’s Vision 2025 addressing equity, inclusion, and diversity.
