Abstract
This article describes an innovative tool to address wound depth defects. A hydrocolloid frame is applied only to the wound periphery and, using regular compression dressings, lowers it to the level of the base, greatly speeding the proliferative phase of healing. The technique is described and supplemented with photographs.
