Abstract

AbstractStarting point of this thesis was the question what customers expect from professional humanoid service robots and how they respond to this new type of service representative at the frontline service encounter. Professional service robots are on the rise and companies are increasingly applying robots at the service encounter with the customer. Based on the growing managerial relevance for service firms, service marketing research just started to consider service robots as promising trend.
