Abstract

The overall conceptual design of the spacecraft is the top-level design of the spacecraft system and plays a leading and decision-making role in the development of spacecraft products. This paper investigates the overall design problem of spacecraft, and proposed a novel spacecraft overall design method to improve the efficiency and quality of design process. Applying knowledge engineering technology to enhance the automation of overall design, moreover focusing on solving spacecraft design knowledge modeling, knowledge extraction and related issues. Unlike the existing methods, this paper uses ontology technology to build a spacecraft design knowledge base, which achieves a better performance. Finally, simulations for the designed attitude control system based on knowledge base are performed, and the simulation results validate the effectiveness, reliability, of the control method designed by the overall conceptual design.
