Abstract
Overactive bladder (OAB) disorder is typically described as a constellation of lower urinary tract disorders. The International Continence Society (ICS) defined the disorder as the urinary urgency that occurs with or without urge incontinence that is associated with symptoms of frequency and nocturia. Urinary urgency is considered the cornerstone presentation or symptom associated with OAB. The ICS redefined urinary urgency as the compelling feeling of impending incontinence that is difficult to defer. 1 Brubaker L Urgency: the cornerstone symptom of overactive bladder.
