Abstract
An incidence of ovarian tumors in women demonstrating the syndrome of familial mucocutaneous pigmentation and gastrointestinal polyposis has been statistically approximated and an embryological concept of the possible common histogenetic cause of this coexistence purported. The importance of a careful pelvic evaluation of such women has been noted.
