Abstract

Outside Front Cover: The schematic diagram of possible synergistic effects in the plasma-catalytic CO2 hydrogenation processes by a nanosecond pulsed discharge with Ni and Cu catalysts. From the electron-collision reactions in gas phase, vibrational excited species (i.e., CO2(v)) may reduce the energy barrier of CO2 dissociation while the reactive species may be capable of promoting ER and LH reactions. The synergistic effect will produce more intermediates and the selectivity of CH4 and CH3OH. Further details can be found in the article by Jun Du, Lijun Zong, Shuai Zhang, Yuan Gao, Liguang Dou, Jie Pan, and Tao Shao (e2100111).
