Abstract

Under the assumption that (E, A, C) is observable, a reduced-order normal system is obtained by system equivalence transformations. According to the asymptotically null-controllability of the system transformed, two distinct nonlinear regulators are constructed to solve the output regulation problem for the original singular systems with input saturation. In particular, by comparing with the case of linear feedback controllers, these regulators enlarge the set of initial conditions for which the problem has solutions is addressed.
