Abstract

This paper investigates the output feedback observability of switched Boolean control networks. According to time-varying output feedback (TVOF) and time-invariant output feedback (TIOF) controls, six types of observability are proposed and their relation is discussed. A technique called parallel extension and a new system named induced logical dynamic system are developed. Based on them, some necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for these TVOF and TIOF observabilities. In addition, the relation between output feedback observability and the existing results about observability is analyzed. Furthermore, some examples are given to illustrate the validity of the main results.
