Abstract
Take the example of a science and technology museum where the upper part is a steel structure and the lower part is a concrete shear wall structure. The performance-based design goals of the structure under rare earthquake are put forward. The performance of the structure under rare earthquake is analyzed considering the joint work of steel and concrete structure. Results show that the structure can meet the performance goals, the structure is safe, and some seismic strengthening measures of the structure are given based on the results.
