Abstract

AbstractIn this book, we have learned that flow microreactor chemistry allows highly selective chemical transformations with the emphasis on the principle of high-resolution reaction time control and extremely fast micromixing. Flash chemistry using flow microreactors makes highly unstable short-lived reactive intermediates usable in a controlled manner and enables transformations that cannot be done in batch. Space integration of reactions makes multistep chemical synthesis much more efficient. Impact of flow microreactor chemistry in polymer synthesis is remarkable, because of superior controllability of molecular weight and molecular weight distribution.
