Abstract
Abstract Active analog data filters are outlined in this block, commencing with a description of the role of active signal filters. A description of the signal parameters to be selected and the interference effects to be filtered out is given. Active filter types are classified and their applications are briefly described. A comparison between active analog and digital filters is given. Active filter design methodology is described and some suppliers of universal active analog filter modules are given.
