Abstract

Introduction: Strabismus surgery dosages used in children with various developmental delays have been the subject of controversy. Two published noncontrolled, retrospective interventional case series have reported bilateral medial rectus recession (BMR) results specifically in patients with Down syndrome (DS). Our study compares the results of BMR in a group of pediatric patients with DS to a group of matched control patients without DS.
