Children with cerebral palsy (CP) and hip pain treated with proximal femoral resection interposition arthroplasty (PFR) are at high risk for heterotopic ossification (HO) formation. We report the incidence of HO in such patients following preventative pre- vs post-operative, single-fraction, low-dose radiation therapy (RT).
