Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on healthcare delivery. During the peak period, across Europe, a 30% reduction in cancer surgery has been reported. We present outcomes for oesophagogastric cancer resections at our unit during the UK COVID-19 lockdown period (16th March – 31st June 2020) and compare this to the same period in 2019.
