Abstract

With the rapid progress of endovascular technology, hybrid aortic arch repair, consisting of supra-aortic re-routing and thoracic endovascular aortic repair into the ascending aorta (zone 0 TEVAR [thoracic endovascular aortic repair]), have demonstrated acceptable outcomes in a high risk population.1 Furthermore, ascending aortic wrapping may create a sufficient proximal landing zone when the ascending aorta is dilated.2,3 This retrospective single centre study describes 23 cases of zone 0 TEVAR with ascending aortic wrapping treated between January 2008 and March 2021.
