Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the impacts of imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC) and channel estimation errors (CEEs) on the performance of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based satellite communication (SatCom) networks. In order to evaluate system performance, we obtain the closed-form expression for the outage probability (OP) in the presence of imperfect SIC and CEEs. To study the effects of imperfect SIC and CEEs at high signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), the asymptotic analysis for the OP is further provided. Finally, the Monte Carlo (MC) simulations are given to verify the correctness of the theoretical results.
