Abstract

With the increasintg interest of vertebrate paleontologists in the group of mammal-like reptiles it has become evident that there is further need of detailed morphologic studies of the related group. With this in mind, a series of studies aimed at a comprehensive description of the skull of Cnemidophorus was initiated. It is proposed at a later date to publish data on the soft parts of the head.
