Abstract

Summary 1.Osteogenesis imperfecta of the Vrolik type and osteopsathyrosis of the Lobstein type appear to have a common pathogenesis and to represent different manifestations of a single disease. 2.Osteopsathyrosis may develop after cerebral disorders and presumably in response to them. 3.Osteosclerotic proliferation of the margins of the vertebral bodies has been observed in a case of osteopsathyrosis. 4.Treatment of osteopsathyrosis with extract of anterior hypophysis is recommended.
