Abstract

This new group of tumors of bone was introduced into 2020 by the WHO classification. It includes three types of lesions: two benign (aneurysmal bone cyst and non-ossifying fibroma) and one of intermediate nature (giant cell tumor). The common feature is the presence of osteoclast-type multinucleate giant cell. In this paper, all the epidemiological, clinical and imaging characteristics will be reviewed.
