Abstract

This study purposes to present some new sufficient conditions for the oscillation of all solutions to a second order noncanonical Emden-Fowler differential equation with mixed neutral term i.e., the neutral term contains both retarded and advanced arguments. The obtained results show that different definitions of neutral term can cause or destroy oscillatory properties of the solutions. This impact of the deviating arguments on the oscillatory behavior is illustrated with examples in which equations including unbounded neutral coefficients.
