Abstract
PEMFC is expected to be applied to electric vehicles and portable equipments. In these applications, PEMFC may be operated at a wide range of load and may have frequent starts and stops. So it is important to elucidate the transient characteristic of PEMFC. In this study we made a two phase flow numerical simulator of PEMFC and predict the behavior of PEMFC. hi this simulator we consider an equivalent electric circuit, a mass conservation equation and a momentum conservation equation. Using this simulator, we calculated the response of cell voltage to a rapid change of load current, and observed behavior of droplet.
