Abstract
Este artigo busca examinar as idéias de Charles Fourier, escritor do século XIX habitualmente considerado como um “socialista utópico”. Uma introdução ao Socialismo Utópico no século XIX, incluindo comentários sobre outros socialistas utópicos como Saint-Simon e Robert Owen, prepara uma análise mais específica dos principais aspectos apresentados por Charles Fourier em seu Falanstério. Também são examinados aspectos relacionados à crítica social dirigida por Charles Fourier contra a sociedade industrial de sua época.
