Abstract

Studies demonstrate the positive effects of biofeedback on subjects with asthma, coronary heart disease, heart, hypertension, reduction of cortisol and dehydroepiandrosterone increase in cardiovascular exercise with biofeedback software by using CardioEmotion. This study has the general objective to review literature on cardiovascular and cardiac coherence biofeedback in order to demonstrate the broad range of applications and results in various physical and psycho-emotional states. The site of research that has the greatest number of keywords in evidence is the SCIENCE DIRECT. So we realize that the Cardioemotion® shows from 2000 to 2015, increasing indicators of interest to notice that the direct descriptors are in more articles in PUBMED, Cardioemotion ® (5,663) and Cardiac Coherence (12) in SCIENCE DIRECT; indirect Biofeedback (10,778) and physiotherapy (4405) both in SCIENCE DIRECT. The analysis of the total data clearly shows for the period 200-2015 significant quantitative increase in all key search word confirming an increasingly frequent presence in the literature of the Health Sciences.
