Abstract

MIMO radar can effectively improve the anti-interception performance of radar, improve the detection ability of low-speed targets in clutter background, and improve the detection ability of weak targets in strong clutter background. In this paper, an orthogonal polyphase code waveform design method for MIMO radar based on greedy algorithm is proposed, the mean peak auto-correlation sidelobe and mean crosscorrelation peak of the signal generated by the algorithm are studied by simulation. Finally, the validity of the generated signal for target detection is verified by simulation of MIMO radar.
