Region is very rich in the point of water sources through Aras River, Arpacay is attached to Aras which located in East Anatolia, Sarki Arpacay and Cehri are located in Nakhchivan. Most of roads which on going in paralel to Aras River, also in hold the oldiest transport network of the region. Through the seroads, cultural association in the terms of cultural and economic between the said regions is began to be seen clearly from the Early Bronze Age. These on going relations network at Middle and Last Bronze Age reached to the highest level at Early Iron Age and Middle Iron Age (Kingdom of Urartu). The Silk Road that passes from India-Pakistan and Northwest Iran, were divided two at Nakhchivan in Middle Ages. First road was arriving to Caucasus over Armenia and Second road was arriving to Trabzon Port over Dogubayazit by passing Ani and Erzurum. Middle Aras Basin has become an important center economi cally at the route of Silk Road through its strategic location and rich water sources, and also take on a cultural bridge task
