Abstract

Tuta absoluta identified in Aegean and Mediterranean regions in 2009, and faster widespread other area becomes key pest of tomato. It has been determined that all provinces in central Centrum Anatolia Region in 2010. In this study, the survey and development of population of Tuta absoluta were conducted . Survey studies were conducted on greenhouse and open field in Ankara, Konya, Eskisehir, Bartin and Zonguldak in Central of Anatolia Region. The population development was carried out by using pheromone traps in open field in Ankara. As a result, surveys and population development determined to be infested with Tuta absoluta all provinces in Central Anatolia. As for the population development, it was determined that the date first adult emergence on 04.05.2011 and 14.05.2012 were respectively. The highest adult emergence (175 adults trap) occurred on 16.11.2011. In 2012, the first adult emergence was recorded on 05.14.2012. The highest of adults (175 adult/trap) in a trap was recorded on 16.11.2012.
