Abstract

We have investigated the electron–hole asymmetry which is observed in phase diagrams of the high- T c cuprate superconductors. We have treated the antiferromagnetic fluctuations in the fluctuation-exchange approximation and the superconducting fluctuations in the self-consistent t -matrix approximation in the d–p model. We have obtained the results which yield a unified view accounting for essential features of the phase diagram observed both in the hole-doped and in the electron-doped cuprates.
