In article number 1707612, Wei Li, Guangming Lu, Dongyuan Zhao, and co-workers review advances in the synthesis of hollow periodic mesoporous organosilica (PMO) nanoparticles with various organic moieties. The synthetic strategies, smart hollow architectures, and typical applications for hollow PMOs are systemically discussed.
